Aces4Kids Contest Invitation

You are invited to enter the Aces4Kids Sports Explorer Contest for a chance to participate in our trip to the 2024 BNP Paribas Open Family Day!

Contest Details

This contest is meant to nominate 10 students to join us at the BNP Paribas Open Family Day in Indian Wells, CA on Saturday, March 2. This trip will celebrate the end of the Aces4Kids Challenge, a fundraising initiative to send exceptional students and parents from our Aces4Kids Sports Explorer tennis program to this prestigious event.

The BNP Paribas Open Family Day has become one of the largest tennis and entertainment events of the year, offering several interactive games, on-court clinics, face painting, rock climbing, live music, and other fun activities for all ages!

We will be riding along with the rest of our Aces4Kids Sports Explorer family in a 30-passenger shuttle bus to enjoy a fun-filled day in Tennis Paradise!

Entry Requirements

DEADLINE: Tuesday, February 20th

To be nominated, candidates must be at least 5 years old and a current student of Coach Frazier. They must also submit an online application and age-specific requirement before the contest deadline.

Age-specific requirements are listed below. Materials must be submitted to Coach Frazier at Poinsettia Park.

  • Ages 5-7: Create a drawing or painting. Subjects may include Coach Frazier, a tennis scene on Court 1, Poinsettia Park, or an imaginary tennis character.

  • Ages 8-10: Write a report on a famous tennis player (past or present). Or create a picture collage of several famous tennis players.

  • Ages 11-13: Write a short essay on your experience with Coach Frazier, discussing how you have learned and/or benefited from taking tennis lessons.

No purchase is required to enter the contest. However, donations to the fundraiser are encouraged.

Date: Saturday, March 2nd

9 AM - 12 PM: Shuttle Ride

  • Departing: Poinsettia Park Tennis Courts | 968 N Poinsettia Pl, Los Angeles, CA 90046
  • Arriving: Indian Wells Tennis Garden | 78200 Miles Ave, Indian Wells, CA 92210

12 PM - 4 PM: Event

4 PM - 7 PM: Shuttle Ride

  • Arriving: Poinsettia Park Tennis Courts | 968 N Poinsettia Pl, Los Angeles, CA 90046

We ask that only 1 family member travel with us on the shuttle. However, other family members are more than welcome to drive in their own vehicle to the event and join us. 

Parking Recommendations

We encourage our guests to carpool, Lyft, or Uber to the pick-up location. There is street parking around Poinsettia Park. Alternatively, there is a parking lot at Trader Joe's or Sprouts Farmers Market on La Brea to leave your car in a secured lot.

Additional Information

Nominated candidates will be notified by Coach Frazier on Tuesday, February 20th. Nominees will also be recognized on our social media pages.

Nominees will have until Thursday, February 22nd to confirm their attendance with Coach Frazier. This ensures we have enough t-shirts, refreshments, and catered lunches for everyone. If a nominee does not confirm before the deadline, their spot may be forfeited.

If you have already submitted an application but cannot attend the event, please contact Coach Frazier. This will allow another child and family member to take your spot.
